Join us for Northern California’s premier Switzerland’s 735th National Day Celebration at Swiss Park in Newark, CA! Gather with family and friends for a festive day filled with authentic Swiss traditions, delicious cuisine, live entertainment, cultural exhibits, shopping, and activities for all ages. Whether you’re proudly Swiss, have Swiss roots, or simply love Swiss culture, you’ll enjoy a fun-filled outdoor celebration in a relaxed picnic setting that truly captures the spirit of Switzerland.
A GENERAL ADMISSION TICKET IS REQUIRED FOR PEOPLE 17 AND OLDER: For tickets ordered online by July 27, 2026, pickup at ‘Will Call’ the day of the event.
For tickets ordered on or after July 28, 2026, tickets pickup @ Ticket Sale Counter. Printout of tickets required. No food, alcohol, or pets may be brought into Swiss Park.
Swiss Food & Culinary Delights
Savor authentic Swiss cuisine, including specialties from Lugano Swiss Bistro of Carmel and artisan breads from Little Sky Bakery of Menlo Park. Additional food, beverages, baked goods, wine, spirits, and snacks will be available throughout the day.

Entertainment & Program
Enjoy welcoming remarks from Beat Henzen, representative of the Consulate General of Switzerland in San Francisco, followed by a full day of outstanding entertainment celebrating Switzerland’s rich heritage. Listen to Ticino music by Dennis Sartori and George Campi, enjoy performances by the Golden Gate Boys Choir, Swiss Echoes, and talented Alphorn musicians Jonathon Stillman, Stephen Saxon, Peter Ryser, and Monika Ryser. Join our colorful Swiss Flag Parade, sing along to the American and Swiss National Anthems led by Gabrielle Sonnberger, and dance the afternoon away to the lively sounds of The Internationals Band.

EXHIBIT: As America commemorates its 250th Anniversary, the Swiss Heritage Mobile Museum proudly presents a special new exhibit honoring Henry Haller, the longest-serving White House Executive Chef.
From Switzerland to the White House, Chef Haller’s remarkable journey is a story of talent, dedication, and service. His extraordinary career reflects the enduring friendship between Switzerland and the United States and the lasting contributions Swiss immigrants have made to American history.
Step inside the story of one of the most accomplished Swiss-Americans to serve in the White House. Discover rare artifacts, treasured memorabilia, and fascinating stories that reveal the remarkable legacy of a man whose work became part of our nation’s history.
